Some people really like NRT and some people really like Zyban. It’s whichever product works best for you alongside determination and behavioural change. Statistically, 65% of people quit that use NRT with support.
It’s never too late to improve your health! No age is too old. Stopping smoking at any age will bring benefits to your health.
The Stop Smoking advisor will work with you to set a quit date, ideally within two weeks of your first appointment. The full course is 12 weeks in length but by 12 weeks you should be well into your life as a non-smoker.
The Stop Smoking advisor will monitor how you get on with the products and they can be adjusted in quantity or swapped for another product at any point within your journey.
You can choose either an online or a face-to-face course. Whichever suits you best!
Yes, this will be absolutely fine. We might ask you to check in with your GP prior to starting a new exercise regime to ensure you are fit to workout with us. Exercises can be performed standing or seated with minimal or no equipment. Each exercise will have adaptations for you to choose from, so you can select the most appropriate for you. The exercise is light to moderate (around 4 to 6 out of 10) and will gradually become slightly more challenging each week, hopefully increasing your fitness.
There’s lots of support available and it’s up to you how much you access. You can opt to join our private Facebook and WhatsApp pages/groups, as well as the weekly 1-to-1 contact with your practitioner. Progress calls can be arranged as and when you feel you need that bit of extra support as well – we’re here for you!
If you’re taking part in the online course, you will receive weekly emails with the course content for you to look back over. You will also have access to our online physical activity platform with live streamed and saved workouts.

We welcome players to come down and see what we’re up to and make sure that you feel comfortable.

There will be a trophy presentation, celebrating the league, cup competition and weight loss winners’ awards, handing out the League Shield, The League Cup, medals and certificates of achievement, but individual prizes are also available for those who have lost the most weight! If you really enjoyed the league and felt it was beneficial, you can join the following league costing £25 to £31 a month depending on location.
Research has shown that any increase in physical activity levels can have a significant positive impact on health, so we encourage our clients to gradually increase their activity rather than doing too much too soon. However, over the course of your physical activity pathway your coach will encourage you to work towards a target of at least 150 minutes of moderate activity per week. This amount of activity has been shown to significantly improve health in the longer term.
