Who We Help

We understand how important it is for your GP practice to engage with NHS Health Checks and our dedicated NHS Health Checks Engagement Officer can support you and your practice to complete the checks.  

Why are NHS Health Checks important for HCPs?

  • Practices receive £35 per health check conducted, paid on a quarterly basis.
  • NHS Health Checks can pick up patients’ underlying health conditions.
  • Early detection can save GPs time on future appointments.
  • Engaging ethnic minority groups with NHS Health Checks can spot raised risks of underlying conditions.

How we support gp practices

  • We can arrange and conduct a telephone campaign to invite your patients and contact those who don’t attend.
  • We offer HCPs Behaviour Change Training.
  • We provide a crib sheet to help staff explain the NHS Health Check process to patients.
  • We provide patient feedback surveys to help you improve the process.
  • We offer point of care testing machines.
  • Your practice will receive £35 for each NHS Health Check conducted.

  • We offer translated leaflets.
  • We arrange informative talks.
  • We conduct educational webinars.
  • We arrange community events.
